MOSCOW, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Two terrorists were killed in the Republic of Ingushetia in southern Russia, the country's National Anti-Terrorism Committee said Saturday.
Law enforcement officers besieged two terrorists, including one on the federal wanted list and accused of having connection to the Islamic State group, near the village of Ali Yurt in the Nazran District, the committee said.
"Both criminals were killed" during an exchange of fire, the committee said, adding that weapons, ammunition, explosive devices and other equipment were found at the scene of the operation.
Further investigation is underway, it said.
