TIANJIN, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition featuring the works of three Italian art masters of the Renaissance period opened Tuesday in Tianjin.
A total of 68 works by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael will be shown at the exhibition in the Tianjin Art Museum. The exhibition will run through Nov. 14.
The exhibits include paintings and sculptures as well as a large number of sketch manuscripts, which will offer audiences a glimpse into the creative processes of the three masters.
"At the exhibition, the audience will also enjoy the splendid beauty of the Renaissance art and the humanistic light of Florence some 600 years ago," said a senior curator of the museum.
The exhibition, sponsored by the Tianjin municipal government, is co-hosted by the Tianjin Art Museum, Nanjing Museum, and Italy's MetaMorfosi cultural foundation.
