TIANJIN, April 18 (Xinhua) -- China Tianjin International Fair for Investment and Trade opened in north China's Tianjin Municipality on Thursday, focusing on opening-up, cooperation and high-quality development.
The municipality aims to boost trade, economic cooperation and investment through the fair, according to commerce authority of the city.
The fair will highlight the cooperation outcomes of China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, according to the Tianjin Commission of Commerce.
Company executives and officials from 36 countries and regions are scheduled to attend this year's trade fair, with 2,868 booths in an area covering 60,000 square meters, among which 468 booths are set to draw international talents for the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regions.
The fair will last until April 22. It is expected to attract 200,000 visitors within the next four days.
The international trade fair has been an annual event since 1994.
