TEHRAN, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani congratulated Saturday Uzbek and Kyrgyz nations and officials on their national days in separate messages, official IRNA news agency reported.
The friendly relations between Iran and Uzbekistan is developing on a daily basis thanks to the mutual interaction and cooperation, Rouhani wrote to Shavkat Mirziyoyev, his Uzbek counterpart.
The existing relations will be maintained to ensure common interests and secure the regional security and stability, he noted.
On Saturday, Rouhani also said that the steadfast commitment of Iranian and Kyrgyz officials has nurtured the friendly relations between the two countries.
The ties between Iran and Kyrgyzstan is developing in the various fields of economy, politics and culture, Rouhani said in a letter to Sooronbay Jeenbekov, president of Kyrgyzstan.
The Iranian president said the two countries' relations are based on mutual respect and common interests, expressing the hope that the two countries' comprehensive ties will be further strengthened.
The Islamic Republic sets no limit to development of all-out ties with Kyrgyzstan, he stressed.
