BEIJING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- In the first half of 2019, China saw more cybersecurity incidents or threats involving cloud platforms compared with those in 2018, according to a report on China's Internet security issued Tuesday.
The report, released by China's National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team, said over 60 percent of DDoS attacks, backdoor and defacement in China's Internet were found on cloud platforms.
Hackers often use China's cloud platforms to launch attacks, said the report, adding that 78.8 percent of all the recorded DDoS attacks on targets in China were initiated from cloud platforms.
The report calls for joint efforts from both cloud service suppliers and users to cope with the threats.
