Over the past four decades and more, China has experienced a 25-fold plus increase in per capita income, lifted 850 million people out of poverty, and contributed over 70 percent to global poverty alleviation effort. China has also shared its valuable experience in combatting poverty with many countries, contributing to global poverty reduction.
